Located just north of Houston, Texas, CCM is a private museum collection of more than 90 vintage, veteran, and century-era motorcycles owned by the father and son team of Mike and Buck Carson. Over more than 15 years, Mike and Buck have collected, restored, showed and ridden antique motorcycles of all different marquees in numerous unique events across the United States. In 2012, CCM entered the second running of the Motorcycle Cannonball Endurance run, where Buck Carson competed aboard a 1927 BSA Single and became the youngest person in history to attempt such a ride. During the event Buck turned 21 years old, and was helped across America by Mike Carson, who was in charge of the team support crew.

In addition to Buck Carson, team CCM also fielded an international group of three other riders in the 2012 Motorcycle Cannonball; two members from England and one from Australia. At the conclusion of the event, CCM was presented with the “Spirit of the Cannonball” award for their help to other teams and competitors on the event, and the “never say die” Texas spirit.

Taken at the final banquet of the 2012 Cannonball, team CCM was presented with the coveted, peer-chosen “Spirit of the Cannonball” award for the helpful attitude and positive spirit exhibited by the team. Handcrafted by Australian Chris Knoop, the Spirit of the Cannonball is a custom wicker-basket sidecar body custom painted with Cannonball signage. Additionally, the website has a gallery feature that contains photos and videos from recent events that CCM attended. Friends of the museum can also sign up to receive a monthly newsletter from CCM by checking out the “Contact Us” button at the bottom of the homepage.

One of the biggest features on the new CCM website is the “Shop”, where fans can purchase official CCM merchandise. Currently, all merchandise sales go to support the 2014 Motorcycle Cannonball team; more information on the Cannonball can be found by checking out the “2014 Motorcycle Cannonball” button on the homepage.
